Hello Everyone,
we have been working furiously on the Post Production of our upcoming documentary on the life of Denie Hiestand, "One Journey To Truth." Tangier Clarke (http://www.tangierclarke.com), our brilliant editor, has been sorting through all the footage we shot back in June in New Zealand, and putting together a timeline from where we can begin putting all the pieces together.
Once Tangier completes the timeline (mid-March), we will be able to begin to get to the heart of the project and fine tune it. We will also be able to see if we are missing anything, in order for us to be able to go back to New Zealand (planned for end of March-beginning of April) and film anything we may need to complete the documentary. With us, we will have the honor of having David Negrin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLl0A6i6iqA) to come and shoot with us. What a treat! He was instrumental on our work in Sedona, AZ back in October, and we can't wait to continue our work together in New Zealand.
It has been exhilarating to work on this film and to get to know Denie. He has opened his life and heart to us, which is something we hope to be able to repay soon. He, and his wife Shelley, have opened their home to us. It has been an honor.
More info coming soon,
Ciao,
Joel

More posts from "MakeUp Inc." with Jim Sacca
Hello Everyone,
we have added more footage from master makeup artist Jim Sacca on the blog, makeupincwithjimsacca.blogspot.com.
Season 1 is shortly coming to an end, but we have a couple of amazing surprises in store for you before we wrap it up. Not to worry though, we are already prepping Season 2, with even more amazing shows with Jim.
We wanted to also welcome Debra Weite (http://www.debraweite.com/), a super star hair stylist, who is joining Jim on his blog as both a contributing author as well as some shows. We are in development on a show with her, and what an honor it will be to have her part of our team.
A shout goes out for the amazing Flip Camera, who has been our faithful companion so far.
It's been an amazing tool that allowed us to work in small spaces under very low lighting situations. It may not be big budget movie ready (it's not), but this little camera has amazing capabilities. Sound is also pretty terrific considering the size.
Stay tuned, as more is coming!

Updates on "One Man's Journey To Truth"
Hello Everyone,
it's been a hectic few months since we got back to New Zealand, and in the next few days I will post more of the diary of the trip. Here are two very enlightening books from Denie.
At the moment we are beginning Post Production with amazing editor Tangier Clarke (http://www.tangierclarke.com/) who is taking on the project for us. What a treat to have him on board, and to be able to finally work with him again, since our work on "Lidia" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xf1Ax_H64e8).
Also extremely exciting, we are welcoming Dave Negrin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLl0A6i6iqA) to the team. Dave is one incredible Cinematographer who will join us on October 5th and 6th on our trip to Sedona, AZ to continue the filming with Denie. Sedona was a landmark in Denie's life, and we will explore some of his past (and his future) adventures when he first landed in the USA, as he first left New Zealand.
More Pictures and Clips are also on the way.
Ciao!

Thank you to my team!
Hello Everyone,
I wanted to write a special post on how thankful I am to have had the pleasure of working with two wonderful professionals, and friends, this past week, while shooting "Makeup Inc."
Marc Yannette and Jim Sacca, you guys rock!
There is nothing like working with people who always have your back and strive to make the show as good as possible.
I also have to thank my former classmates at LMU (Loyola Marymount University) Celia and Matthew, as well as Dave, a great DP who are the backbone of the company.
Ciao,
Joel
